In celebration of its first anniversary on November 30, Warhammer 40,000: Darktide is set to receive a free two-part update titled The Traitor Curse. The co-op shooter has come a long way since its release, overcoming challenges and implementing transformative patches.
Part one of the update, scheduled for release in November 2023, introduces a new zone known as The Carnival. Players will embark on a mission to strike at the heart of the Moebian 6th operations, defending against hordes of enemies in Mercantile. The update also includes a new cinematic that delves into the motivations of the Moebian 6th in the Carnival zone.
Among the additions in part one, players will find an update to the Veteran Talent tree and the ability to inspect loadouts in The Mourningstar. Notably, the Veteran Talent tree will undergo significant changes, including the introduction of Keystones, leading to a talent tree reset for veterans.
