From the war-torn battlefields of Ultramar, a new call to arms emerges. Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 3 has been announced, and if the previous two entries in the series are anything to go by, expect blood, bolters, and the relentless wrath of the Emperor’s chosen.
A decade ago, the original Space Marine put players in the ceramite boots of Captain Titus, hacking through the hordes of Chaos and Orks in an adrenaline-fueled third-person slaughterfest. In 2024, Space Marine 2 escalated the carnage, throwing players into the meat grinder against the insatiable Tyranid swarms. Now, Saber Interactive, Focus Entertainment, and Games Workshop have confirmed that the fight is far from over.
Details are scarce – perhaps buried beneath a mountain of classified Inquisitorial reports = but we do know Space Marine 3 will feature a brand-new campaign and expanded multiplayer modes. Expect even bigger battles, even more enemies to purge, and no shortage of heretics screaming for absolution at the business end of a chainsword.
Here’s what the official decree has to say:
“We have been honored by the incredible response from fans following the launch of Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2. We will continue to support the game with exciting content and regular updates in the coming years. Today, we are thrilled to announce that the adventure will continue with Space Marine 3. Players can look forward to an immersive campaign, a multiplayer mode, and innovations that will redefine the standards of third-person action games…”
A bold promise. But if the past is any indicator, they’ll deliver.
For those still deep in the battlefields of Space Marine 2, the war rages on. The developers are committing to years of post-launch support, promising new missions, more upgrades, and an expanded bestiary of enemies to annihilate. Horde Mode is on the horizon, so if you’ve ever wondered how long you can hold against wave after wave of xenos filth, your answer is coming soon.
No release date yet, and Space Marine 3 is likely years away, but when the God-Emperor demands, we will answer. Until then, keep your bolter loaded, your chainsword sharp, and your purge instincts honed.
We’ll bring you more news the moment it emerges from the warp. Until then, you know what to do.
Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 is available now on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Steam, and the Epic Games Store.
